The initial concept for this drawing came for my love of sunsets and nature. What really inspired me was that having been taught how to create gradients using arrays and so I thought this would be great application of that technique and be very effective in what I wanted to achieve. No one image specifically inspired this piece, however, the style in which Anders Larsen created his "Let It Snow" work definitely contributed to how I wanted my outcome to look. I wanted to add another layer of depth though, and so if you refresh the page you will see the position of the sun change. Depending on the position of the sun the sky will also alternate between two coloured gradients.
